Billing & Insurance at The Meridian
We believe that understanding the financial side of therapy shouldn't be stressful. We've tried to make this page as clear and straightforward as possible — because the last thing you need when you're reaching out for support is to feel confused or caught off guard by costs.
Insurance We Accept
We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Cigna
Allegiance
Aetna
First Choice
Mountain Health Co-op
Pacific Source (until 2027)
If you don't see your insurance listed, please reach out. We are able to provide superbills for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits — and many insurance plans cover a significant portion of out-of-network therapy costs.
Out-of-Pocket & Private Pay
For clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plans we are not in-network with, we offer private pay options at the following rates (they are the same rates we submit to insurance):
Intake Session and Assessment (60 min): $190
Individual Session (53 min): $175
Extended Session (80 min): $225
We believe cost should never be the sole barrier to care. Please speak with us about sliding scale availability — we have a limited number of reduced-fee spots and are committed to making therapy as accessible as possible.
Using Your Insurance Benefits
If you plan to use insurance, here are a few things worth knowing before your first session:
Deductible — the amount you pay out of pocket before your insurance begins covering costs
Copay — a fixed amount you pay per session after your deductible is met
Coinsurance — a percentage of the session cost you share with your insurance after your deductible is met
Out-of-pocket maximum — the most you will pay in a plan year before insurance covers 100% of costs
We recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your mental health benefits before your first appointment. Our administrative team is also happy to help you navigate this process — just reach out.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning services. We provide this to all new clients and are happy to answer any questions you have about it.
