Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is one of the most extensively researched and clinically validated therapeutic modalities available for individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and a range of complex mental health presentations. Originally developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan at the University of Washington, DBT has since been adapted and validated across a wide range of diagnoses and populations.
At The Meridian, our DBT-trained therapists provide individualized, evidence-based DBT treatment for adolescents and adults navigating some of the most challenging emotional and behavioral presentations in mental health care. We are experienced in applying DBT principles across a range of clinical contexts, including borderline personality disorder, complex PTSD, chronic suicidality, self-harm, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Our DBT approach is comprehensive and tailored — integrating the four core DBT skill modules with individual therapy to address each client's unique clinical needs and treatment goals.
DBT is appropriate for individuals who have not responded adequately to other therapeutic approaches, as well as those seeking a structured, skills-based framework for building a more stable and meaningful life.
If you are a client, parent, or referral source seeking specialized DBT therapy in Bozeman or Telehealth, we welcome the opportunity to connect and discuss how The Meridian can help.
